Dec 17, 2008 · Now in winter when the boiler was turned on, (and after fixing the leaks in the pipes), I'm finding myself in this mess where all the pipes are making loud banging noise when the boiler kicks in. It's a Crown boiler and I don't know how to tell if it is a two pipe or one pipe system, but my guess is that it is one pipe.
